On the south shore, one can find one of the entrances to the Saguenay-Saint-Lawrence Sea Park. Sometimes, when the weather is fair, it is possible to observe a few belugas and small seals around the dock.
The Havre region is a place bustling with activities in the summer season.
A park with games for children provides relaxation and enjoyment. A long walk in the woods allows you to glance at the pleasure boats, awaiting favorable conditions to take an excursion.
The Riviere-du-Loup Nautical Club has installed a master's office. The Rivière-du-Loup Marina is also a meeting place for operations that allow you to sail on the Saint-Lawrence. One can embark on a sailboat for an excursion to the magnificent Saint-Lawrence Islands, or perhaps for a whale-watching tour.
It is also at this place that we find the ferryboat service, the Rivière-du-Loup/Saint-Siméon ferry that transports over 185,000 passengers annually.
